Master of Management

The Master of Management provides foundation training in business and economics, and specialist training in organisational management. The program covers a broad spectrum of management activities including all the key areas needed to become a successful manager and leader, such as: managing innovation and change; motivating and leading people; developing strategies for national and global markets; and developing market-oriented organisations. The program is ideal for those seeking careers in general management or anyone whose current role requires enhanced managerial and leadership capabilities. Master of Management (Accounting)

The Master of Management (Accounting) provides graduates with foundation training in the key areas of accounting, economics, management, auditing and information systems. At the successful completion of the course, graduates will have the skills and knowledge necessary for entry into the accounting profession and satisfy the educational requirements of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia (ICAA) and the Certified Practising Accountants (CPA) Australia. Master of Management (Business Analysis and Systems)

The Master of Management (Business Analysis and Systems) provides graduates with the knowledge and skills to analyse and solve complex business problems. The course focuses on business processes and operations that are supported by business information systems, together with a suite of analytical methods from both a financial and non-financial perspective. Creative thinking is also encouraged to support the design of new business processes. Graduates are typically employed as business analysts, systems analysts or management consultants. Master of Management (Economics)

The Master of Management (Economics) provides graduates with a two-year program which will equip them with skills and attributes required of professional economists in the public or private sectors. The program will prepare graduates for a range of employment opportunities in the public and private sectors as well as providing a basis to undertake further graduate studies in economics. Career outcomes include professional economist roles in the government sector, financial institutions, insurance companies, large business firms and not-for-profit organisations, and roles in management, public administration, welfare, health and social policy. The first year of the program provides students with a foundation in the various business and management disciplines, while simultaneously building a strong knowledge base in the discipline of economics. In the second year of the program, students receive intensive instruction in the key areas of the discipline including policy analysis. Master of Management (Finance)

The Master of Management (Finance) provides graduates with advanced competencies, professional skills and knowledge in the finance discipline which will prepare them for entry into the finance profession. Career outcomes include roles in trading, investment analysis, mergers and acquisitions and risk management, and mployment in banks, investment banks, stockbrokers, accounting and consulting firms, and government. The first year of the program provides students with a foundation in the various business and management disciplines, while simultaneously building a strong knowledge base in the discipline of finance. In the second year of the program, students have the opportunity to enhance their skill-set with more advanced studies in the finance discipline. Master of Management (Marketing)

The Master of Management (Marketing) enables graduates to develop, implement and control integrated marketing programs, work closely with managers in other functional areas, and pursue a career in marketing management. It focuses on the means by which organisations attract and retain customers, and covers many aspects of marketing, including marketing strategy, customer behaviour, relationship marketing, branding, and international marketing. In addition, the program provides foundation training in a variety of business and management disciplines. Career outcomes include local and international roles in marketing management; management of specific marketing functions, i.e. products and brands, sales, advertising, retail, distribution, services, wholesaling and marketing research; and management consulting.
